Faith Academy School Overview

Who We Are at Faith Academy School of Excellence

Faith Academy School of Excellence is a Christian institution dedicated to the ministry of education. Our purpose is to assist parents in their God-given responsibility to train their children to live a Christ-centered life as they excel academically, physically, and socially.

Faith Academy is housed in and supported by Faith Deliverance Christian Center, Norfolk, VA.

Through God’s grace demonstrated in the generosity of the membership of Faith Deliverance and our faithful supporters, we have been blessed with spacious classrooms, a 6,000 square-foot gymnasium, a state-of-the-art computer lab, a media center, and a full-service cafeteria. With these facilities, we are equipped to challenge our students to vigorously pursue knowledge based on the eternal truth of God’s Word.

We believe it is our duty as Christian parents and educators to place our children in a triangular Christian environment that includes home, church, and school with the presence of Christ at the center of each. Our staff believes in our school, and all who have school-aged children have voluntarily enrolled their children in Faith Academy.

Our teachers are born-again Christians who endeavor to provide each student with a quality education as we teach them to live according to the word of God. We endeavor to model to our children a lifestyle of excellence and faith. A low student-teacher ratio allows each staff member to know each student and to interact with all students on a personal level.

The professional growth of our staff members, fostered through membership in professional organizations, active pursuit of higher educational degrees, regular participation in professional workshops and seminars and constant reading of periodicals, books, and magazines, allows us to remain on the cutting edge of educational theory and practice.

We honor a partnership of trust with parents as we strive to aid in the development of students intellectually, emotionally, culturally, socially, physically, and spiritually. Our intent is to produce young men and women who honor God with their manner of living, hold His Word as the authority in all matters, and who advance the Kingdom of God through their Christian witness, community interaction, and consistent fellowship with other believers. We expect every student of Faith Academy School of Excellence to depart our school possessing high moral and spiritual values, equipped to be life-long learners, involved citizens, ethical employees and entrepreneurs, conscientious environmental stewards, and dedicated disciples of Jesus Christ.
