Elder Sharon S. Riley

Elder Sharon S. Riley is the Executive Director of Faith Academy School of Excellence (FASE). With over 25 years of teaching and administrative experience, she brings a plethora of knowledge to FASE.

Elder Riley was a mathematics teacher in Beaufort, South Carolina and the Virginia Beach, Virginia public school systems. While in South Carolina, she was named “Teacher of the Year” for her innovative teaching style during her first year of teaching.

Elder Riley is a charismatic leader who is committed to community and parental engagement in the educational process. It is her firm belief that the success of students is deeply rooted in the ideology of the seamless triangle, where the students’ home, church and school interact consistently and work collaboratively to meet the needs of the child. It is her aim to ensure that all students develop intellectually, emotionally, culturally, socially, physically and spiritually.

Elder Riley holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina, a Master of Science in Urban Education from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia, and a Master of Divinity from Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA.

Additionally, Elder Riley is the pastor and administrator of Faith Deliverance Christian Center, Inc. (FDCC, Inc.), a multi-faceted ministry in Norfolk, Virginia.
