2nd Place Scripps Spelling Bee Winner: Sis.Tamia Small

Tamia Small is a 7th Grade student of Faith Academy School of Excellence. Every year Tamia achieves 90% or higher on her Stanford 10 National test, has been skipped a grade, and continues to excel academically, spiritually and socially.

In school Tamia is encouraged not only by her spelling coach, but the staff to
study to be her best.

At home her parents Ernest and Tammy Smalls support her academic pursuits and instill in her the importance of a relationship with God and
the value of a solid education.

In church she attends God's Anointed Preteens where she is taught that she is more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. From the pulpit she is reminded by her pastor, Elder Sharon S. Riley, that she can do all things through Christ who strengthens her.

Tamia is non-assuming, yet very intelligent and humble individual. We have the honor and privilege of celebrating the accomplishment of a special young lady. We are so proud of you Tamia!
