Admissions

Faith Academy School of Excellence (FASE) does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion, ethnicity, or national origin. However, all students must comply with the practices, policies, procedures and religious activities of FASE. Before applying, carefully review all of the information included in the enrollment package to determine whether FASE offers the type of education you desire for your child.

Admissions requirements include:

Completed Application Packet: Parents or guardians of new students to FASE must complete all items in the application packet including the application for admissions, pastoral recommendation, teacher recommendation (for students entering grades 1 – 8), and request for records from the student’s previous school. All items must be returned to FASE with the non-refundable registration fee and the student’s latest report card (must be submitted for students entering grades 2 – 8). A copy of the student’s birth certificate must accompany any application for pre-school, kindergarten or first grade.

Entrance Interview: After the application packet and all accompanying items are received by FASE, an interview will be scheduled with the executive director or the administrator. At this time the school’s academic program, method of operation, philosophy and other pertinent information will be discussed. The student along with the parent(s) or guardian(s) holding legal custody must attend the interview. In all circumstances in which legal custody of the student has been determined by a Court, a copy of the determining court document must be presented at the interview and become a part of the student’s file.

Testing and Evaluation: The student will be given a diagnostic test to assess how the student is performing academically in comparison with other students in the class he or she will be entering. This will help determine the most appropriate instructional placement for the student. Please note that no further decisions can be made with regard to enrollment until testing has been completed and evaluated.
